Will Wallentine received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2023, majoring in Biology and Earth & Environmental sciences and minoring in Planetary Science. He is currently a PhD candidate and NASA FINESST recipient in the department of Microbiology at UTK. Here, he studies growth kinetics, adaptation, and membrane dynamics in extremophiles adapted to cold and chaotropic conditions.
